Tasyaka, Fethiye
Tasyaka is superbly located just 5 minutes from the pretty historical harbour town of Fethiye and 15 minutes from the famous beach and lagoon of Olu Deniz. The area of Tasyaka - set high on the hillside above Fethiye, has seen a boom in growth over recent years. The sunsets across the bay and surrounding mountains are simply breathtaking.
Fethiye is a yachting centre with many full or half day trips that explore the Gulf of Fethiye, the 12 islands. Olu Deniz, Butterfly Valley and the unforgettable region around Kekova Island, which has some of the most mysterious sunken cities and ruins in the world. There is also an excellent choice of restaurants bars, boutique shops and a lively weekly market.
Ovacik
Situated on a high plateau 4km from the coast and surrounded by stunning mountains, the once quiet villages of Ovacik and Hisaronu have joined to form a lively resort which has a particularly British atmosphere. The village is full of bars, restaurants and shops with plenty to do.
Kalkan
Kalkan is little short of Idyllic - Nestled round a sheltered natural harbour at the foot of the majestic Taurus Mountains, this unspoilt historic town overlooks a bay of breathtaking beauty: Clear azure sea punctuated here and there by verdant islands; a picturesque scattering of boats ruffling its calm surface. By day, Kalkan is the perfect place to indulge in a leisurely spot of hassle-free shopping. By night you can either choose to visit the bars / restaurants or just enjoy a relaxing stroll in the beautiful town.
Alanya
Alanya is the main Sea Side Town on the South Coast of Turkey. It is a modern city with a large cultural heritage. There is a harbour in Alanya visited by Mediterranean Cruise ships as well as a Marina for smaller boats. It offers a choice of simple authentic Turkish Restaurants and 5* dining at some of the best hotels in Turkey. There are a variety of Water Parks as well as a Castle dating back more than two thousand years. Alanya is a city which offers things for people of all ages and interests.
Sarigerme, Dalaman
Sarigerme is quickly establishing itself as a popular family destination with a handful of large, mostly self contained hotels and one or two more traditional pensions. The actual centre of Sarigerme is pretty nondescript, but with plans afoot to turn this area into a golfer's paradise, it is unlikely to remain so for much longer.
Sarigerme is situated only 8 miles from Dalaman. Dalaman is an area of natural beauty. It is located between the sea and mountains and benefits from its proximity to many areas of interest both historical and geographical, for example Dalyan Mud Baths, ancient tombs etc. The town is ideally situated for lots of resort areas and is very much a quiet town with unspoilt beaches, ancient ruins and parks such as Caunis, Lycean rock tombs, and superb thermal spas along with famous mud baths.
