Vila Sol Spa and Golf is situated between Quinta do Lago and Vilamoura, one of the most renowned areas of the Algarve. The golf course was opened in 1991 but has already established itself as one of the premier courses in the Algarve and has hosted the Portugal Open several times.
Part of the resort is also a stretch of beautiful sandy beach, where nearby additional facilities are available at the Beach Club such as a bar and beach facilities. There is courtesy transport provided to the beach during the main season for residents and owners (June - September).

The Vila Sol resort has excellent facilities including a swimming pool, sauna and steam room, a fully equipped gymnasium, 24 hour room service, children's facilities and a 400 space car park. The Spa and health facilities in the hotel offers guests complete relaxation and a wide range of soothing therapies. The resort has a 27 hole golf course which is of natural design and follows the wide valley and is split into three loops with three levels of difficulty including prime, challenging and prestige.
The resort offers two gourmet restaurants, L’Olive Gourmet and The Green Pines, with one situated on the first floor of the hotel looking over the lush green golf courses and stunning waterfalls and lakes that surround the resort. The communal outdoor pool has a pool bar and restaurant.
The hotel is adjacent to the golf clubhouse and is designed with a central area, which is surrounded by ten clusters of rooms and suites, blending into the natural Vila Sol environment. All are linked by footpaths which wind their way around the lakes and gardens. Hotel rooms include the Presidential suite, 48 suites and 140 bedrooms, all with private balconies. Other hotel facilities include a business centre, 24-hour room service, tobacconist and boutique and babysitting on request. Many different types of functions and meetings can be accommodated in the Atlantica Ballroom (which can be divided into six individual rooms) and five syndicate rooms, which can be adapted to suit your requirements.
The apartments and villas are beautiful properties furnished to a high standard. The detached villas have private pools and the apartments are situated around communal pools.
