A ruined château high up on the hill forms a spectacular backdrop whilst the river Côle meanders peacefully in front of the house. This cottage has been superbly renovated to accommodate four people in considerable comfort and style. It is rare to find such an idyllic retreat for smaller groups, offering as it does all the comforts of modern living in a tranquil, natural setting.

Ground floor:

• Large attractive double bedroom with sitting area and French doors to front and side with en-suite bath room

First floor:

• Spacious fully fitted and well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine/dryer, microwave and dining area and doors to upper terrace and pool area
• Large, comfortable living room with satellite television, video, DVD and CD player and open fireplace

Outdoors:

• Old stone steps link the two levels of the pretty garden and a private, heated swimming pool with integral steps and pool side lighting
• A mown path leads down to the river and a landing stage which makes an ideal spot from which to fish
• Outdoor furniture with sun loungers and BBQ

• Bicycle hire, canoeing, horse riding & tennis – 10 km
• Golf – 15 km

Local Towns:

Maid service - towel changes are included twice per week, linen once. Extra maid service can be arranged at an additional cost

For 2011 extras will be deducted from the damage deposit, as follows:

Electricity – 6 pence per unit (excluding high & peak season)

Please note that use of the pool in April or October carries a surcharge which will be added to the accommodation cost.
