Praia d'el Rey Golf Course
Praia D'El Rey is arguably one of the most stunning golf courses in Europe. It's set among extensive pine forests and undulating dunes, with spectacular views over the Atlantic and the Berlenga Islands beyond.
Praia D'El Rey is rated amongst the top golf courses in Europe by Golf World Magazine and is one of the major golfing destinations for both private and sponsored events.
The Course is a mixture of seaside links and parkland holes with a par of 73, offering the golfer a unique experience during their round.

Praia d'el Rey Facilities
Football Pitch - There is a UEFA standard football pitch on the resort. Rental prices are available and include the use of the pitch and related infrastructures. Security services can be provided at an extra cost.
Kid's Club - There is an Activity Club available for children 4-8 years old in the hotel. There is also an Adventure Club for children 8-16 years old. Activites include pool parties, treasure hunts, surfing, kayaking, body boarding, quad biking etc. Please ask for information and prices.
Health Club - Located at the Praia d'el Rey Marriot Hotel the resort's spa and health club lets guests get down to some serious relaxation and calming therapy.
The deluxe health club is there to improve your body's well-being and offers all the standards (including a Jacuzzi, facial and body treatments and a gym) as well as must-have extras such as Thai massage, Shiatsu and personal trainers.
Tennis Centre - There are seven all-weather courts with a professional team on hand to teach and organise tournaments. Two of the courts can be used for volleyball, basketball, five a-side football among other sports.
Other Interests - Just a few minutes away there is horse riding, clay pigeon shooting, surfing and scuba diving, a jogging circuit and aquatic sports - something for everyone! On site there are various other guest services including a 24-hour doctor service, ATM machine, excursion service and a convenience shop. Babysitting and child care can also be arranged. High chairs, extra beds (max one per unit), pool heating in villas where available, and meals can be quoted for on booking.

On resort, the Praia d'el Rey Marriott Hotel features several restaurants and bars, all open to residents and non-residents.

As an alternative to the Praia d'el Rey Marriott Hotel, the Golf Clubhouse offers Portuguese and International cuisine in a delightful restaurant with stunning sea views. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served here and snacks are served all day in the lounge or on the terrace.
Zanzibar Restaurant is a bar located under the Golf Clubhouse restaurant, open from 8pm - 12pm. Here guests will find an Arabic theme and karaoke nights too! A great place to go for some entertainment after dinner!
