This lovely property in Vale do Lobo is a large centrally located 5 bedroom detached villa with pool close to Barringtons Health Club and Spa. The beach, bars, shops and restaurants of the Praça area are under a 10 minute stroll away.
This excellent family villa has been designed to maximise natural light and the flow of the living space allows versatility and comfort. The villa is fully fitted throughout with air conditioning, which guests may make use of for a supplemental charge.
The property is spacious without being imposing. The property is reached up a calçada driveway and the double front doors open into a hallway with a few steps up into the main living area on the first floor.
The lounge with corner fireplace opens on two sides through sliding doors to the large wrap around terrace area overlooking the gardens. This main living space incorporates a generous dining area with an extendable table to seat up to 10 persons, the feature curved wall of windows bring the outside in and overlook the pool area. A breakfast bar opens this entertainment area into the fully equipped kitchen with separate utility area with its own sink. The finishing is of a high standard and includes microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine, tumble drier, dishwasher and integrated wine rack. Popular with many families is the small TV room/snug that overlooks the back of the house with satellite TV and comfy sofas. There is a cloakroom also on this floor.
Sleeping accommodation is set on two levels. On the first floor the master suite takes prominence at the front of the house. There is a separate dressing area with fitted wardrobes within which is a safety deposit box. The en suite bathroom has a large walk in shower, as well as a corner Jacuzzi bath. The bedroom itself has sliding doors on two fronts, one of which opens onto a private West facing roof terrace. The other 4 bedrooms are on the ground floor along a corridor, the full length of which is fitted with wardrobes. All bedrooms have twin beds, mirrored fitted wardrobes and sliding doors to access their own individual terrace area and gardens. There is a bathroom for each pair of bedrooms to share, one has a bath with a shower and the other has a shower cubicle.
Due to the fabulous weather most time is spent outside lounging by the pool or enjoying an al fresco meal. The 11m x 6 m (unheated) swimming pool is south facing with an attached heated Jacuzzi that can comfortably fit 10 people and for convenience there is also an outside shower. Garden furniture including sun beds, table and chairs as well as comfortable seating are positioned to allow full enjoyment of the weather with plenty for everyone. There is both a portable gas BBQ and a large slate fixed BBQ and to facilitate al fresco dining there is also a bar/sink area, close to the back door that opens to the utility room/kitchen.
The gardens are well maintained with a combination of lawn, trees and terraced flowerbeds, lit up at night by the lights along the driveway. There is more than ample parking in addition to the garage and the car port at the front of the house.
Guests are requested to refrain from smoking inside the house. Barrington’s Membership also entitles guests to use the facilities on site which include gym, outdoor and indoor pool, squash courts, sauna and Turkish bath.
